What is a VA?

What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is an highly skilled administrative professional who provides a wide range of business services including administrative, technical, creative, marketing & web support services to small business and entrepreneurs. A VA would partner with you, learn about your business, and help you with your specific business needs for the long term, unlike most temps.  VA's are independent contractors and work "virtually" out of their own office and communicate with their clients via internet, fax, telephone or other methods of communication.

Virtual Assistants do not require any computer training and are ready to assist you with your specific needs from general office support services to marketing support and web services.

What are the Benefits of a VA?

  • You will not have to provide a workstation, additional office equipment, or support.

  • No need to deal with Social Security taxes, health or life insurance.

  • You will not have to pay Workers Compensation, unemployment or retirement benefits.

  • You will not have to pay for sick time, vacation, holidays, or overtime.

  • You will not have to take time to hire, train and manage permanent or temporary on-site employees.

  • No computer training is necessary.

  • You don't need to pay for breaks, down time or slow periods.

  • Less expensive than a temp agency

  • You only pay for time and materials used on your particular projects.

  • A VA can work for you on an as needed basis.

What can a VA do for you and your business?

Projects that a VA can do for you may range from drafting letters, emails, or memo’s, sending faxes, fielding internet leads, and internet research, to designing a logo and marketing materials for yourself or your properties, listing coordination, finding and purchasing closing gifts for clients, and word processing to name just a few.  A VA can be as involved in your business as you want them to be.  BVAS can provide basic administrative support such as data entry, word processing, and meeting scheduling, or more advanced services such as website management, marketing, and advertising.

Most VA’s bill only for ‘time on task’ saving your bottom line. Working with BVAS, you pay only for the services you use. You have the option to pay hourly on an ‘as needed’ basis or you can take advantage of a retainer plan for an agreed upon number of hours per month for a discounted rate.

Having BVAS on your side taking care of your administrative tasks will help you do what you do best, sell homes! More about BVAS
